Yes. Swift Credit Pte Ltd is a reliable money lender in Singapore with a MinLaw licence issued by the Registry of Moneylenders under the Ministry of Law. You can verify that the moneylending is licensed by checking the official list of licensed money lenders at rom.mlaw.gov.sg.

Q2: How much can I borrow from Swift Credit?

The amount you can borrow depends on your annual income, residency status, existing financial commitments, and ability to repay. Singapore citizens and PRs earning below SGD 20,000 annually may borrow up to SGD 3,000. Those earning SGD 20,000 and above may qualify for loans up to 6 times their monthly income.

For a foreigner, the maximum loan amount is SGD 500 for annual income below SGD 10,000, SGD 3,000 for annual income between SGD 10,000 and SGD 19,999, and up to 6 times monthly income for annual income of SGD 20,000 and above.

Q3: What's the interest rate and fees?

Under the Moneylenders Act 2008, interest is capped at 4% per month. The administrative fee is capped at 10% of the principal and is charged once. Late payment fees are capped at SGD 60 for each month of late repayment, while total applicable charges cannot exceed the principal amount.

Q4: How fast is the loan approval?

Most licensed money lender loan applications submitted during office hours can be reviewed on the same day. Your loan approval depends on document submission, income checks, affordability assessment, and identity verification.

The initial application can be done online via a secure loan application using Singpass MyInfo. However, licensed moneylenders must still complete the required checks before they can disburse the funds.

Q5: Can foreigners apply for a loan at Swift Credit?

Yes. EP, S Pass, and Work Permit holders may apply. You will need your passport, valid work pass, latest 3 months’ pay slips, and proof of Singapore residential address

Q6: Do I need a guarantor?

No. All fast cash loans are unsecured. No guarantor and no collateral required.

Q7: Is it safe to borrow from licensed money lenders?

Yes, provided you borrow from licensed money lenders regulated by the Registry of Moneylenders under the Ministry of Law. Always check the official list of licensed money lenders before applying for a loan. A licensed money lender in Singapore follows the Moneylenders Act, explains all terms and conditions, and provides a clear loan contract before any money is disbursed.

Q8: Can I apply if I have poor credit or bad credit?

Yes. People with poor credit or bad credit may still submit a loan application.
